MEET STEPHEN ROGERS, D.M.D.
Dr. Rogers received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York – Stony Brook and went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Like all of our dental team, Dr. Rogers is a proponent of continuing education and remains at the forefront of dental technology and techniques, including implant dentistry, through advanced classes, seminars, and study groups. In addition to cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Dr. Rogers is certified to perform oral/facial augmentation and Botox therapy.
Dr. Rogers also participates in medical missions, performing oral surgeries for people with no access to dental care in locales such as Myanmar.
Dr. Rogers lives in Kings Park and has a daughter attending University at Albany . When not attending large family functions, Dr. Rogers enjoys boating, fishing, and cars.
MEET JAMES WOLTMANN, D.M.D.
Dr. Woltmann graduated from Boston College before receiving his dental degree, with high honors, from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his post-doctoral training at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York and is currently a faculty member there. He has studied extensively with the Pankey Institute and is currently continuing his education with the Dawson Academy. His studies have included a two-year General Practice Orthodontic Program, and he is a preferred provider of Invisalign® orthodontic treatments.
Dr. Woltmann lives in West Islip with his wife, Debbie, son, Jimmy, and daughters, Taylor and Alyssa. During his free time, Dr. Woltmann enjoys spending time with family, surfing, and boating in the Great South Bay.
MEET ANTHONY GERACI, D.D.S.
Dr. Geraci graduated cum laude from State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. After his post-graduate residency at Nassau County Medical Center, he served as an attending doctor, teaching new residents, managing operating room cases, and performing the most advanced dental care in the medical center. Dr. Geraci maintains active membership in the American Dental Association, Nassau County Dental Society, and the Dental Society of the State of New York.
Dr. Geraci's favorite pastime is surf fishing the local beaches of Long Island, so if you know of any secret fishing spots…please forward them!
MEET DR. DIANA M. BACKER, D.D.S.
Dr. Backer graduated from University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery in 2000. She previously practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 10 years before continuing her advanced education and degree as a general dentist.
In 2001 she completed a General Practice Residency at Nassau University Medical Center. Since that time she has been in private practice with an interest in Holistic Dentistry. She is currently a member of the Holistic Dental Association as well as the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
Dr. Backer is a caring and compassionate dentist. She brings her ability to treat comprehensive and complex cases as well as routine dental care for the entire family, young and old, to Greater Long Island Dental.
Angela Fucito, OFFICE LEADER/FINANCIAL COORDINATOR
Creating relationships and implementing new systems to deliver an exceptional level of care to each patient is a passion and that Angela brings to Greater Long Island Dental. As our practice leader with over 14 years of experience, she is a key factor in helping our patients understand the importance and value of maintaining optimal oral health. As our treatment coordinator and financial expert, Angela's goal is to educate our patients on the recommended treatment and help them financially achieve their oral health goals.
Angela and her husband Joe live in Wantagh with their two little girls Valentina & Giovanna. Coming from a large family she loves to entertain family and friends in their new home. Learning, traveling, cooking, and relaxing on the beach are a few of her favorite things!
Amanda Heilman, DENTAL HYGIENIST - Team Leader
Amanda brings over a decade of dental experience to our team and has been Hygiene Team Leader since 2015. Amanda graduated from Farmingdale State College and is certified to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.
She lives on the North Shore with her fiancé Chris and enjoys cooking and entertaining friends in their new home.
Joyce LaBosco, DENTAL HYGIENIST
Joyce Graduated from State University of NY at Farmingdale and has been practicing hygiene for 34 years. Living in Massapequa, Joyce returned to Greater Long Island Dental after working in Huntington Dental practice for over 20 years. Joyce, along with her husband Mike, has raised their two beautiful children, Alyssa and Robert. Joyce enjoys boating, racquetball, entertaining her friend and family, and traveling.
Susan King, DENTAL HYGIENIST
Susan recently graduated with honors from the Dental Hygiene program at Briarcliffe College. She is certified to administer and monitor local anesthesia and nitrous oxide in our practice for your comfort. As a hygiene team member, Susan is very eager to help our patients understand the importance of oral health and inspire everyone to keep up with their oral hygiene.
Susan lives on the North Shore with her husband Ryan and son Declan. They both love to entertain guests at their home and spend time with their families.
Jessica Kahl, DENTAL HYGIENIST
Jessica has been a dental hygienist since graduating from Farmingdale State College in 2003 and continuing her education to receive her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene in 2005. Besides now being a part of our dental team, Jessica also continues to work at Farmingdale with the incoming dental hygiene students. She is certified to administer and monitor local anesthesia and nitrous oxide in our office for your comfort. She is always looking for her patients to feel at ease and well educated on the status of their overall health which makes an appointment with her less like a chore, and more like a visit to see an old friend.
Jessica and her husband Chris live in Bay Shore with their 3 young children, Miranda, Walter and Benjamin and their dog Dubie. When she is not working, Jessica loves to cook, read, travel, spend time with her family and enjoys going to concerts and Ranger games.
Rachel Ferlazzo, DENTAL HYGIENIST
Rachel is another new addition to our hygiene team here at Greater Long Island Dental. She recently graduated with honors from the Dental Hygiene program at Farmingdale State College. She is certified to administer and monitor local anesthesia and nitrous oxide in our office for your comfort. Rachel is passionate about educating her patients on oral health and is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure her patients feel like they are a part of our family when they visit our office.
Rachel grew up on Long Island and lives in Farmingdale with her family, and their two dogs and two cats. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys baking, spending time with her family and loves to try new restaurants with her long term boyfriend, Patrick.
Christine Policastro, SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
Christine is a Massapequa native, graduated Massapequa High School in 2007. She went on to continue her education at Hofstra University graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health. Shortly after graduating from college Christine joined the team at Greater Long Island Dental. Ever since joining the team 4 years ago she has been dedicated to use her knowledge to help patients with all of their insurance and financial needs.
Christine recently married her high school sweetheart, Alexander. The two of them have made a big move out to Oakdale where they just bought their first home together. Cooking, relaxing, spending time with her puggle Melanie, and going out with her husband are a few of her favorite things!
Marybeth Lott, SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
Marybeth brings extensive dental experience to our team, having practiced in the Five Towns area as a dental business administrator. She is ready to answer any patients' questions about planning for their dental care and fitting it into their lives.
Marybeth lives in Hewlett with her long time boyfriend Gus and enjoys the beach, reading a good book, sunsets, and dining in fine restaurants. Then, there is Lola and Vino...her cute and cuddly English bulldog and Italian Greyhound.
Kristen Helmke, SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
Kristen was born and raised on Long Island and currently lives there with her husband Chris. She recently graduated from the State University of Farmingdale and joined our team shortly after. Kristen loves to be outdoors, enjoys going to the beach and going out with friends. She also enjoys spending time with her family in her spare time.
Ally Warner, SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
Ally was born and raised in Baldwin, Long Island. She graduated High School in 2009 and shortly after joined the work force. She is dedicated to learning new things and expanding her knowledge. She joined the team of Greater Long Island Dental recently but already made a huge impact to the patients' lives and is a huge asset to the team.
Ally is the youngest of 7 kids; all are very close with each other. Ally lives in Baldwin with her sister and their roommate. She enjoys spending free time with her boyfriend Dylan and her family. She also enjoys shopping and trying new restaurants for dinner.
Nathaly Valdes, INSURANCE COORDINATOR
Nathaly has been in the dental field for 11 years now. She graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Eastern Suffolk Boces in 2004 and has been working in the field since then. Nathaly started as a dental assistant and worked her way to receptionist and now Insurance Coordinator. She also graduated from the Culinary Arts program at Boces in 2005. Nathaly is bilingual in Spanish and English and is eager to help communicate with all patients for their dental needs.
Nathaly is originally from Chile but moved to Suffolk County at a young age. She has been living in Nassau County for four years with her fiancé Giovanni and dog Luna who she adores. She enjoys cooking, going to the movies, and spending time with friends and family.
Michelle Y. Munoz, DENTAL ASSISTANT
Michelle was born in the Bronx and moved to West Hempstead, ultimately graduating from West Hempstead High School. She received her training in dental assisting from Nassau Tech B.O.C.E.S. before joining our dental team.
Michelle enjoys spending every minute of spare time with her family and long summer days at the beach.
Marie Ryan, DENTAL ASSISTANT
Marie brings significant experience in dental assisting to our team. In fact, she was once trusted to make customized mouth guards for the New York Islanders. As a Dental Assistant, Marie works with the doctors to provide our patients with advanced, comfortable dental treatments.
Jenna Farella, DENTAL ASSISTANT
Jenna was born in New Jersey and moved to Massapequa at a young age. She attended Massapequa High School and graduated in 2006. After graduating, she went on to attend Nassau Community College for two years then started her dental career. She has always been passionate about dentistry and is excited to be assisting. She been a dental assistant for 5 years and uses her experiences to be compassionate and well educated while working with patients.
Jenna enjoys living in Massapequa with her parents and twin sister. During her free time she enjoys going to the beach and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Ali Giamanco, DENTAL ASSISTANT
Ali moved to Long Island from Pennsylvania after graduating high school. She went on to study Psychology at SUNY Suffolk and Mansfield University. While working as a medical biller she followed her interest to pursue a career in dentistry. Her calming, gentle and comforting nature makes our patients feel at home and extremely comfortable.
Ali lives in Lindenhurst with her boyfriend Peter and their dog Opie. In her free time she enjoys taking Opie to the beach and dog park and riding horses which she has been doing since she was 18 months old, competing and qualifying in many competitions including states!
