Stephen E. Rogers, D.M.D. does dental mission work and provides technologically advanced care to patients at Greater Long Island Dental. Dr. Rogers travels for work and pleasure, working part-time for Flying Doctors of America. He enjoys providing a patient-centric experience at Greater Long Island Dental.
My name is Steve Rogers. I am from Kings Park, Long Island. I have one
daughter, Jennifer, and Jennifer just started college this year.
For fun, I like to do a lot of traveling. Recently I've traveled to
Myanmar. That's a country where I went for Flying Doctors of America, and
this year I'll be flying to Peru, again for a medical mission.
I also enjoy boating and fishing in the area. Long Island is a great area
for boating and fishing.
I went to college originally at the University of South Florida. I went
there for two years, and then I attended Stony Brook University where I
finished with a Bachelor's of Science and Chemistry. After that point, I
went to the University of Pennsylvania for four years, and I received a
DND. I followed through with some post-doctorate training at Kings Country
Hospital Center in Brooklyn before I practiced here.
When I was younger, I always knew I wanted to be in the healthcare field. I
wanted to help people. I had a strong interest in mechanical things.
When I meet a new patient, the first thing I like to do is to sit in the
conference room. I want to know what they're about and what their
expectations are. I will always be honest with all of my patients, I
approach every case with integrity. I always do my best to plan everything
out to suit the patient best and not my own needs. I have the staff around
me to support that kind of treatment, and the technology and the partners
to help us develop a comprehensive treatment plan.
