brackets and bands and wires, and we also offer Invisalign Orthodontics for
our adult and teenage patients.
Invisalign braces are a series of clear overlay aligners. They are computer
generated. Each aligner has a built-in prescription which will selectively
move a patient's teeth to the desired location. They are indicated for our
teenage patients as well as a lot of our adult patients.
Patient reaction to Invisalign has been phenomenal. They really love
wearing them. The results we get with them are phenomenal. The technology
over the past five to seven years has really just expanded dramatically the
cases that we can treat. Years ago, we were limited in the amount of cases
we can treat, but now we can virtually treat any case with Invisalign
Invisalign requires a follow-up typically every six weeks. The patients are
seen at six week intervals. Every six weeks we give them six weeks worth of
aligners, and we instruct them to change their aligners every two weeks. At
the end of every two weeks, the aligner movement is complete, and they're
given a new aligner at that point to move forward with their case.
